UPDATE ON MOUAU POST UTME REGSTRATON 2014: STUDENTS/ CANDIDATES LAMENTS OVER LACK OF PUBLICITY ON MOUAU POST UTME REGISTRATION

The Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike started their 2014 post utme registration  on Monday 14^th of July 2014, as the registration scratch cards are only sold  at the price of  N2500.

 Candidates are not aware that MOUAU have started sales of their post utme form.

A 300 level student of COLMAS who spoke anonymously said that he was just coming back from his house at Aba to his greatest surprise, on getting to school, he was told that they have started the sakes of MOUAU post utme form, he went on to say that he has two brothers who chose this school and he was forced to call them yesterday to come for the registration.

Since Monday 14 July 2014, when the registration started there have been low turn up of candidates for the registration. When clogeblog visited all the buying/ registration centres in MOUAU, there were just few people seen buying the scratch card/ registering. Some of the students who came with their laptop to the registration centres for registration business when interviewed said that this is the lowest turn-out in recent times as they only register 3–5 candidates a day compared to previous times when they 15- 20 candidates a day staying that it was due to the poor awareness by the university on the post utme registration as most candidates are not aware that the university have started sales of the post utme form.

All the persons interviewed, called on the university management to extend the registration deadline to next week in the interest of candidates. It will be recalled that the university published on their website www.mouau.edu.ng, the details of the post utme registration.
