The Lagos State University (LASU) will, on Friday, March
28 matriculate fresh students for the 2013/2014 Academic Session, and
have advised parents and guardians to note that payments of school fees
will end midnight Thursday, March 27, 2014.
The University Authority also stressed that there will be no
extension for payment of school fees after matriculation, adding that
only students who have paid their school fees will be issued
Matriculation Number.
Also, the University has scheduled a Matriculation Lecture for all
Matriculants, their Parents and Guardians on Friday, March 28, 2014,
before the commencement of the ceremony.
Speaking on the development, the Vice Chancellor, Prof. John
Obafunwa enjoined Parents and Guardians to adhere strictly to the stated
instructions, as this and many of such are parts of measures put in
place by the University Authority towards ensuring a smooth academic
calendar.
Speaking further, the Vice Chancellor also enjoined all Lagos State
University students who have been scheduled to resume on Tuesday, April
1, 2014 to ensure they register for all required courses to be offered
at the beginning of the semester, as this will enable the institution
prepare in earnest towards having a hitch-free Academic Session.
He also admonished the returning students to be of good behavior and abide by the rules and regulations of the University.
It would be recalled that the newly admitted students resumed for screening exercise on Monday, March 10, 2014.
