Last week was a bubbling week for Food science and technology Students , as they embarked on an excursion.
They arrived at the 7up company in batches, the first batch was the marcopolo bus with the highest number of students and was followed by the coaster bus. on their way to the excursion venue, they had a tire burst along okigwe road which caused a delay.
All together the students were oriented on safety , after that they were assembled in a class room where they were lectured on the history of 7up bottling company and its activities.After some series of lectures the students were set to go and they marched off through the company; from one hall to another noticing and exhilarating at the modernization of the machinery used in the company.
After the walk through, the students were assembled again, this time around it was for little refreshment and they headed back to school.
Some of the students who went for the excursion, when interviewed by Clogeblog about the excursion said that they learnt many things during the course of the excursion and thanked the department for giving them such an exposure.
